Foreword

All praises be to the Almighty God, the most gracious, the most merciful.

With reference to learning objective which must be based on three blended learning concept which is integral and inseparable in nature namely among the other things knowledge-based learning, skill-based learning and application-based learning, the writer uses his best endeavor to fulfill such demand, by preparing this simple book,  How to be a Professional Interpreter.

Wonderfully, this book can be used and applied for interpretation exercise which uses competence-based approach, to improve student’s knowledge and skill in interpreting program of both consecutive and simultaneous from English into Indonesian and vise versa.

In relation to which, this exercise is intentionally-provided for the student who would like to prepare him/herself to become a professional interpreter.

Finally, the writer believes that this book still has many weaknesses in many aspects and still needs many due improvement and perfection. In connection to which, many constructive inputs and advices from the readers would be really appreciated.
